I expected something to go wrong because that usually seems to be my luck, but the books came out really nice. The print quality was solid, and for once I don’t really have anything to complain about.

I really appreciated the study schedule because bar prep already feels like a lot, and having something laid out that I could still move around when work got hectic made everything feel a little less messy, like even on the days when I fell behind or had to swap things around, I could just look at the plan and know what needed to happen next instead of wasting time trying to make my own schedule from scratch. It definitely wasn’t a perfect day every day, but it kept me way more on track than I would’ve been on my own...

I was kind of unsure at first if the MPT drills were actually making a difference, but on exam day I felt a lot less panicked than I expected. I still second-guessed myself a bit, of course, but the format felt familiar and that helped a ton.

For what they’re charging, I expected a lot more. Maybe I’m picky, but I have a certain standard when I’m paying this much, and this just didn’t live up to it. It felt way too expensive for what you actually get.

When I first started studying for the bar, I felt overwhelmed and wasn’t sure what to expect. I ended up using Barbri, stuck with the schedule as best as I could, and just kept pushing through the long study days. It definitely wasn’t always fun, but it gave me structure when I really needed it. In the end, I passed on my first try, so I’m happy with it

I had trouble logging in and reached out to tech support. The chat was quick, and they got me back into my account fast. I’m always a little cautious about paying for services if support is slow, but this felt worth it.

The course material itself was totally fine, but the online platform? Kind of hit or miss for me. Some of the videos took forever to load, and I got randomly logged out a few times. Not the end of the world, sure, but when you’re trying to study, who wants to deal with that?

Not gonna lie, I was expecting the signup process to be a little more annoying, but it was actually really simple. I paid, created my account, and was able to log in and see the course materials pretty much right away. No confusing emails or weird extra steps, which was a relief. Everything loaded fine on my laptop too. So far, it’s been a smooth experience and I’m happy with how easy it was to get access

I expected BARBRI to feel like an impossible amount of work, but it ended up being reasonable. The daily assignments were clear and usually manageable, and on heavier days I could shift things around without feeling like I’d completely fallen behind. For me, that was the key—bar prep is already stressful enough, so having a schedule that actually makes sense made it feel much less overwhelming.

This course covers a lot of ground, maybe even a little too much at times. From the way it’s laid out, I’m guessing they were really trying to make sure nothing important was left out, which I appreciated, even if it felt a bit overwhelming here and there.

Paying was a relief. Checkout was simple, nothing glitched or made me second-guess anything, and the charge showed up exactly how I expected. I got my receipt quickly too, which made me feel a lot better.
I really appreciated being able to find the billing info later without digging around. I was a little nervous there might be surprise fees or some confusing fine print, but thankfully there wasn’t any of that.

Overall, it was smooth, clear, and way less stressful than I expected. When you’re already spending a lot on something like bar prep, having the payment side feel easy actually means a lot.

Barbri was okay overall, but the instructor quality felt inconsistent. A few of them really knew how to explain the material clearly, even down to little details that made a rule finally click. But other lectures felt rushed, and I found myself rewinding the same 30-second section more than once just to keep up. For how much it costs, I expected the teaching to feel a bit more consistent across the board

The course itself was okay, not amazing but not terrible. My main issue is the refund policy. It just feels really unfair and way too strict. The guarantee sounds good at first, but when you actually need help or try to use it, there are so many rules and limits that it feels almost impossible. I kept running into the same problem with the refund process, and it was frustrating. Again, the course was fine, but the refund rules really need to be more reasonable

i mean, the practice questions were the main thing I kept coming back to on Barbri. They felt close to the style of the real exam, not like random throwaway questions that were too easy.

I also really liked that the explanations broke down why the wrong answers were wrong. That made a bigger difference than I expected because I started noticing the same mistakes I kept making before test day.
Some of the sets definitely annoyed me and felt rough in the moment, but that was probably a good thing. They forced me to actually learn the rules instead of just guessing and hoping for the best.

The MBE questions felt close to the real thing, close enough that I actually felt like I was practicing the right way. The explanations were helpful too and helped me catch the same mistakes I kept making over and over...

I used barbri mainly for the essay practice, and the feedback was okay overall. Some of the comments did help me catch issues I missed, but a lot of it felt kind of broad, like something that could apply to almost anyone’s essay.
I’ve used other bar prep resources where the feedback felt more specific to my writing, especially around rule statements and how I organized my answers. barbri isn’t bad, but for the price, I was hoping for more detailed notes. I’d say 3 stars is fair.

As someone who was trying to squeeze bar prep into every random gap in my day, the Barbri app made a big difference. I used it mostly on my phone during my commute or whenever I had a break, and it was nice being able to watch videos or knock out practice questions without dragging my laptop around. It did get annoying sometimes when it loaded slowly or randomly logged me out, but overall it helped me stay consistent and feel like I wasn’t falling behind.

Customer service was slow to get back to me, which wasn’t exactly ideal while I was in the middle of bar prep and already stressed. To their credit, the answers were helpful once they finally came through, so I guess they’re good if you’re not in any kind of hurry...
